The physical release of this Corpus Callosum album comes in a custom-made zip-strip packaging that we have filled with artwork that we have made specifically for this release.
The outside of this package features an oil painting by Dax Tran-Caffee depicting a still life of suitcases and succulents. The package is sealed with a tear-away zip-strip, under which grows a forest of enormous plants modeled after the photographs of Karl Blossfeldt. Inside the package the imaginative forest continues as an expansive landscape, rendered entirely with cut construction paper by Andrea Craver. Inside a pocket filled with tardigrades illustrated by Stevie Hryciw, the CD itself is printed with a photograph by Stephanie Bailey of the distant reaches of Newfoundland, and is folded into a paper sleeve inscribed in longhand by Greta Hryciw. We are very happy to have the opportunity to present this artwork alongside the recordings.
Oh goodness. Bancamp asks to set a favorite track and I can't. I just can't. The whole album takes me out of myself and I'm somewhere new. vworpstageleft
I heard this song on welcome to nightvale years ago and only recently looked into the story behind this song. I sobbed listening to it for the first time after and the connection I feel to this song is unbelievable Asteraceae
